Diagnostic audit

Restaurant growth audit: find out what is holding your sales back

A restaurant growth audit is a data-led check on why a restaurant, café or cloud kitchen has stalled. AETR reads your recent P&L, POS exports and Zomato and Swiggy dashboards, looking at listing visibility, conversion, operations, repeat customers and unit economics, then ranks what to fix first. It takes 5–7 business days, counted from data access to the findings call.

Who It's For

Is this the right service for you?

Owners and founders who sense a problem but can't yet pin it down. The usual signs are sales that have gone flat, marketing spend that isn't turning into orders, or less margin left each month than there should be.

Not the right fit: If you already know the trouble sits in one area, such as payouts or the menu, a focused audit or a single consulting session may suit you better.

What's included

  • How visible your Zomato and Swiggy listings are, and how many views turn into orders
  • A scan of the menu and the prices on it
  • Operational reliability: order rejections, kitchen prep time (KPT) and ratings
  • Unit economics (what you actually keep from each sale), plus a review of your marketplace payouts
  • A walkthrough of what we found with you and your team

What you receive

  • A written diagnostic report
  • Your fixes in priority order, ranked by how much each one matters to revenue and margin
  • A 60-minute call to go through the findings

Prices, timelines and scope last reviewed 25 September 2026. Prices exclude GST unless stated.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a restaurant growth audit actually look at?

It follows the path from being seen to being paid. We check how visible your Zomato and Swiggy listings are and how many views convert into orders, scan the menu and pricing, and look at operational reliability through rejections, kitchen prep time and ratings. Then we review unit economics and marketplace payouts, and how well you bring customers back. The aim is to find where growth is really getting stuck.

What data do I need to share with you?

Usually three things: access to your Zomato and Swiggy dashboards, exports from your POS, and your most recent P&L. Every business keeps its numbers a little differently, so we confirm the exact list on the scoping call before anything starts. The 5–7 business day timeline only begins once we have access to that data, which keeps the clock honest on both sides.

How long does the growth audit take?

5–7 business days, counted from the day we get data access to the day of the findings call. That time goes into reading your marketplace, POS and finance numbers side by side. If some data takes longer to arrive, the start date moves with it, so it helps to have dashboard access and exports ready when we begin.

How much does a restaurant growth audit cost?

There is no published price. We quote each growth audit separately on a short scoping call, and the figure depends mainly on two things: how many outlets you run and how much data is available to work with. A single outlet with clean exports is a different job from several outlets with scattered records, which is why a fixed price would not be fair either way.

Is this just a way to sell me a monthly retainer?

No. The growth audit is complete on its own: you get the written report, the ranked list of fixes and the findings call, and you are free to act on them yourself or with your own team. If you want AETR involved after that, we can talk about it, but whether you take things further is entirely your decision.

What do I get at the end of the audit?

Three things. A written diagnostic report covering what we found, a list of fixes arranged by commercial impact so the most valuable ones come first, and a 60-minute call where we walk you and your team through the findings. The call is the place to question anything in the report and agree what to tackle first.

Do you guarantee that sales will go up after the audit?

No. An audit tells you where the business is losing ground and what to fix first, but the results depend on your menu, your market and how the fixes are carried out. We would rather give you an honest ranked list than promise a number we cannot control. What we can promise is that the findings come from your own data, not guesswork.
