Frequently Asked Questions
Is the government fee included in the ₹5,999?
No. ₹5,999 + GST is our starting fee for a standard single-class application. The government's filing fee is charged on top of that at actual cost, with nothing added by us. We say this upfront so the government fee does not come as a surprise when the bill arrives.
What if another business already uses my restaurant's name?
That is exactly why the clearance search comes first. Before filing, we check for existing trademarks that could clash with your name and tell you about any conflict we find. That way you are not paying to file an application that is likely to draw an objection, and you can decide how to proceed with the full picture.
How long before my trademark is actually registered?
We can only commit to our part. Filing usually happens 5–7 business days after we have your details. From then on, registration moves at the Trademark Registry's own pace, which is outside our control, so we do not quote a registration date. You get the acknowledgment number when we file, and we keep tracking the application.
What exactly do I get from you?
Your brand name's trademark application, filed in one class, along with the filing receipt and its acknowledgment number as your record of the filing. Before filing, we flag any conflicts the clearance search turns up, and after filing we track the application. This service covers the filing itself; whether the mark is registered is decided by the Trademark Registry.
Can you file my trademark in more than one class?
Yes, but it is priced differently. The ₹5,999 + GST starting fee covers one standard class. If your brand needs protection in additional classes, we scope that work and quote it separately, so you know the cost before anything is filed. Government filing fees stay separate either way and are billed at actual cost.
What happens if my application gets an objection or opposition?
Handling an objection or an opposition is not part of the standard filing fee. If either comes up, we scope the work involved and give you a separate quote. Running the clearance search before filing is meant to catch likely conflicts early, so you are not paying to file a name that is already likely to attract an objection.
Can you guarantee my trademark will be registered?
No. Whether a trademark is registered, and how long that takes, is decided by the Trademark Registry, not by us. What we handle is our part of the work: a clearance search with any conflicts flagged, a single-class application prepared and filed on your behalf, and the acknowledgment number and tracking that follow.
