Restaurant consultants in India, based in Gurugram
AETR is a restaurant consultancy in Gurugram working with restaurants, cafés and cloud kitchens across India. We read your own numbers first (delivery dashboards, POS exports, your P&L) to see where the business is stuck, then help you fix it. Start with a 60–90 minute session, a Growth Audit taking 5–7 business days, or a Business Diagnostic lasting 1–2 weeks.
Where most owners begin
Growth Audit
Before you put more money into marketing, we check how visible your outlet is, how well it converts, how reliably it runs, whether guests return and what each order really earns. You get a written report, a ranked list of fixes and a 60-minute call to walk through them.
5–7 business days See the serviceBusiness Diagnostic
For owners who sense that something has to change but can't yet say if it is the marketing, day-to-day operations, the menu or a mix of them. We review revenue, operations, marketing and guest experience, talk to the people involved and hand over a roadmap of what to tackle first.
1–2 weeks See the serviceConsulting Session
A single working session on one clear decision, such as what to charge for a dish or which of two projects to back. You send a short brief beforehand and receive written notes with next steps afterwards.
60–90 minutes, flat per-session fee See the serviceRestaurant Performance Audit
Order rejections and cancellations, slow kitchen prep, late rider pickups and customer complaints, followed outlet by outlet to the ratings and revenue they are costing you.
5–7 business days See the serviceMenu Audit
Each dish is checked for sales, contribution margin and price, so you know which items to push, reprice, simplify or drop.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a restaurant consultant actually do?
A restaurant consultant works out why a restaurant is not growing or earning the way it should, then recommends what to change. That could be the menu and prices, performance on Zomato and Swiggy, day-to-day operations, marketing or the economics of each order. At AETR we look at your own data first, usually your delivery dashboards, POS reports and latest P&L, and only then suggest what to do.
How much does a restaurant consultant cost in India?
There isn't one fixed price. We scope each engagement on a short call, and the quote depends on your number of outlets and the data involved. A Consulting Session has a flat fee per session, confirmed when you book. Fixed published prices apply only to practical services, such as the food and ambiance photoshoot at ₹15,000 + GST.
Something is clearly wrong with my restaurant, but I can't tell what. Where do I start?
Start with a Business Diagnostic. It suits owners who can't yet tell if the trouble lies in marketing, operations, the menu or several of these at once. Over 1–2 weeks we review your available data, speak to the people involved and look across revenue, operations, marketing and guest experience. You finish with a prioritised roadmap showing where to focus first.
If I book a Growth Audit, will you push me into a monthly retainer?
No. The Growth Audit is complete in itself. You receive a written report, a list of fixes ranked by how much they matter to the business and a 60-minute findings call, and you can act on that yourself. Whether you work with AETR after that is entirely your decision.
What data will you need from my restaurant?
Usually access to your Zomato and Swiggy dashboards, exports from your POS and a recent P&L. For an audit, read-only dashboard access is enough; we don't need permission to change your listings or ad campaigns. For a Menu Audit we also need the ingredient cost of each item, because margin can't be worked out from sales alone. We confirm the exact list on the scoping call.
Can I book a single session instead of a full audit?
Yes. The Consulting Session is a single working session of 60–90 minutes on one specific, well-defined problem, such as pricing a dish on your menu or choosing between two projects. You share a brief before we meet, and afterwards you get a written summary with next steps. Sessions are usually scheduled within a few business days and carry a flat fee confirmed at booking.
Where is AETR based, and do you work with single-outlet restaurants?
Our office is on the 3rd Floor, Landmark Cyber Park, Sector 67, Gurugram 122001. We work with independent restaurants, cloud kitchens and multi-outlet chains across the Indian market, on Zomato, Swiggy, Magicpin and Thrive. A single outlet is fine: the Restaurant Performance Audit, for example, can be run for a one-outlet business.
Can you guarantee that my sales will go up?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What happens after a diagnosis depends on your brand, your menu and your market, so we don't commit to a number in advance. What you do get is a written account of where the problem seems to be and which fixes to make first, based on your own figures.
