Zomato & Swiggy audit

Zomato and Swiggy marketplace audit, outlet by outlet

A marketplace audit is AETR's outlet-level check of how your restaurant performs on Zomato and Swiggy: visibility in search, conversion, ad spend, discounts and payouts. It suits brands with several outlets whose numbers differ by location. We rank every outlet, name fixes for the weak ones and finish in 5–7 business days, using read-only dashboard access.

5–7 business days
Who It's For

Is this the right service for you?

Restaurant brands running several outlets on Zomato and Swiggy, where results vary from one location to the next and the brand-wide average hides which outlets are falling behind.

Not the right fit: If the cause is already obvious in your own dashboard, such as wrong opening hours or a rating dip after one bad week, fix it directly; you do not need an audit for that.

How It Runs

How the audit runs

01

Scoping call

We agree the scope, the number of outlets and the data we need, and quote the engagement on the same call.

02

Read-only access

You give us read access to your Zomato and Swiggy dashboards. We never need permission to edit your listings or campaigns.

03

Outlet-by-outlet review

For each outlet in turn we look at where it shows up in search, how many visitors go on to order, what ads and discounts cost, and whether payouts match.

04

Findings

You receive the outlet ranking, specific fixes for every outlet that is underperforming, and the payout reconciliation summary.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you need admin rights on our Zomato and Swiggy accounts?

No. Read access to your Zomato and Swiggy dashboards is enough. The audit only needs to see your numbers, not change them, so you never have to give us the ability to edit listings or campaigns. Any change the audit points to comes to you as a recommendation, and you decide whether and how to make it.

Can you audit just one outlet?

Yes, a single outlet can be audited. The review is most useful, though, when there are at least 3–5 outlets, because much of its value comes from setting outlets side by side to see which ones lag and why. With one outlet there is nothing internal to compare against, so the findings rest on that outlet's own numbers.

How quickly will we get the marketplace audit results?

It takes 5–7 business days, counted from the point we have read access to your dashboards. Before that, a short scoping call settles the outlet count and the data needed. At the end you receive a ranking of your outlets, the fixes for each outlet that is lagging, and a summary of how your payouts reconcile with your orders.

How much does the marketplace audit cost?

There is no fixed published price. The audit is quoted per engagement, based mainly on how many outlets you run, and the figure is confirmed on a short scoping call before any work begins. That way you know the cost and exactly what the audit will cover before you share any data with us.

Should I book an audit or fix things on my own?

If your own dashboard already shows the cause, for example wrong opening hours or a rating that slipped after one bad week, fix it directly; you do not need an audit. If orders have stayed low for some time and nothing obvious explains it, the marketplace audit is designed to find the reason instead of leaving you to guess.

Is this the same as a payout audit?

Not quite. The marketplace audit includes a payout reconciliation check alongside visibility, conversion, ads and discounts. If money is your main worry, the separate payout audit goes deeper: it matches payouts against order-level data, verifies the commission rates charged and looks for patterns in deductions. It takes 5–7 business days after the payout data is provided.

Do you guarantee more orders after the audit?

No. The audit shows where each outlet is losing visibility or conversion and what to change. How much that moves orders depends on your brand, your menu and your local market, so no specific number is promised upfront. What you do get is a ranked, outlet-level list of fixes to work through rather than guesswork.
