Restaurant marketing audit for Zomato and Swiggy ads
A restaurant marketing audit is for owners who spend on Zomato and Swiggy ads and promotions without knowing what they return. AETR reviews each campaign's return on ad spend (ROAS), sets acquisition cost against customer lifetime value and checks how much demand leans on discounts, judged on what orders actually earn you, not impressions. It takes 5–7 business days.
Is this the right service for you?
Owners and marketing teams putting money into Zomato and Swiggy ads, offers and promotions without a clear picture of what that spend brings back.
Not the right fit: If your listing is not yet turning views into orders, start with the marketplace or menu audit, because ads tend to do less for a listing that does not already convert well.

How the audit runs
Scoping call
We agree which channels are in scope and what data is needed, and quote the audit based on the channel count.
Data access
For Zomato and Swiggy, read-only dashboard access will do. Other paid channels depend on the data access you can give us.
Campaign review
We judge each campaign on what its orders actually earn you: return on spend, acquisition cost versus lifetime value, and how much it leans on discounts.
Findings
You receive a campaign performance ranking and recommendations on how to reallocate your budget.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which channels can a marketing audit cover?
Zomato and Swiggy marketplace ads are covered today. Other paid channels can be included too, but only as far as the data access you are able to give us allows. We confirm which channels are in scope on the scoping call, and the number of channels is what the quote is based on.
Is Zomato or Swiggy advertising actually worth it for my restaurant?
Only if each ad-driven order still leaves you money once commission and any co-funded discount come off; impressions and clicks cannot tell you that. Advertising usually magnifies what a listing already does: a page that converts well gets more from it, while a weak one gets less. The marketing audit shows which of those describes your outlet.
How long will the marketing audit take?
5–7 business days. Before it begins, a short scoping call confirms which channels are included and what data access you can provide. At the end you receive a ranking of your campaigns and recommendations on where your ad and promotion budget should go instead, so you can act on it straight away.
What do I actually get at the end?
Two things: a ranking of your campaigns by how well they really pay back, and recommendations on reallocating your budget, meaning which campaigns to scale back and where the money would work harder. The ranking is built on what each order actually nets you, rather than on reach, impressions or click volume.
Isn't return on ad spend enough to judge a campaign?
Not on its own. ROAS tells you what a campaign brought in against what it cost. Comparing customer acquisition cost with lifetime value adds a second question: whether the customers it brought in are worth what you paid to win them. Alongside both, the audit checks how much of your demand shows up only when a discount is running.
How much does a restaurant marketing audit cost?
There is no fixed published price. The audit is quoted per engagement, based on how many channels are being reviewed, and the figure is confirmed on a scoping call before any work starts. Today that covers Zomato and Swiggy ads, with other paid channels added only where the data can be shared.
Do you guarantee a better return on our ad spend?
No. The audit shows which campaigns are paying back and which are not, and where the budget could be moved. What happens after that depends on your listing, your menu, your market and how the changes are carried out, so no return figure is promised in advance. You do get a clear, ranked basis for the decision.
