Restaurant consulting session for one specific decision
A restaurant consulting session is one 60–90 minute working session with AETR on a single, clearly defined problem, such as pricing a menu item or deciding which of two competing plans comes first. You send a short brief beforehand, we work through it together, and you get written notes with next steps. Sessions are scheduled within a few business days.
Is this the right service for you?
Owners with one well-defined decision to make who want to think it through with someone who has seen the problem before, without paying for a full audit.
Not the right fit: If you are not sure what the problem actually is, a business diagnostic or growth audit is a better place to start.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of problem suits a single consulting session?
One that is specific and well defined. Typical examples are working out the right price for a menu item, or deciding which of two competing initiatives deserves your time and money first. If your question is broader, such as why sales have dropped across the board, a single session is too short to answer it properly, and a business diagnostic or growth audit will serve you better.
How long is the session, and how soon can I get one?
Each session runs for 60–90 minutes and is scheduled within a few business days of you booking it. That gives you enough time to send us a short brief beforehand, so we can come prepared and spend the session itself on the decision you are facing rather than on background you could have written down in advance.
How much does a restaurant consulting session cost?
It is a flat fee for each session, and we confirm the amount when you book. This differs from our audits, which are scoped and quoted separately for each engagement. A session follows the same pattern every time: a short brief from you, one 60–90 minute working session, and written notes with next steps afterwards.
Do I need to prepare anything before the session?
Yes, a short brief. Set out the decision you are facing, what options you are weighing and any numbers you already have that bear on it. It does not need to be polished. The brief lets us read up before we meet, so the 60–90 minutes go on working through the problem together rather than on explaining the business from scratch.
What do I get after the session?
A written summary of what we discussed, along with the next steps we agreed. There is no audit and no formal report; the session is meant to be a focused conversation with someone who has seen the pattern before. The notes are there so you and your team have a clear record of the thinking and know what to do next.
What if one session turns out not to be enough?
Sometimes a narrow question turns out to be part of a bigger problem. In that case a wider piece of work is the sensible next step: a business diagnostic, which takes 1–2 weeks, or a growth audit, which takes 5–7 business days counted from data access. Whether you take that further with AETR is entirely up to you.
Do you guarantee the advice will work?
No. A session helps you think a decision through with an experienced second opinion, but the outcome depends on your market, your team and how the decision is carried out. We will tell you honestly what we think, including when we believe an idea is a poor bet. The decision, and the call on whether to act on it, stays with you.
